In 2015 the River Dee Trust commissioned art work for the label of the Dee Dram limited edition Scotch whiskey. Atlantic Salmon undertake an epic journey from their river of origin to the feeding grounds out at sea and back again to spawn when the life cycle begins again. Slainte Salar translates literally from gaelic "Slainte" pronounced "Slange" meaning "Good health" and Salar, the name given by the Romans to Salmon meaning "the Leaper"!"
The image is available as one of only 200 Giclee prints, created on archival quality, matte and acid free 230g paper, using an Epson Pro printer & ultrachrome ink, giving a lifetime guarantee of bright colour.
